Medical professionals don't commonly use the word "traumagenic" because dissociative disorders are, by nature, caused by trauma. Similarly to PTSD and CPTSD, they're trauma derived disorders.Similarly, if you (general you not you you) said that your diagnosed GAD was giving you auditory hallucinations, I personally would urge you to seek better care, because that's probably not your only mental diagnosis. Symptoms must match, that's the entire point of diagnostic criteria and targeted treatment. If you want to remove the medical lens entirely, you need to pick another lens to give non-traumagenic "plurals" context. However, the moment you do that, you CANNOT ever expect people to treat it gently like they would an established medical condition. If you remove the medical lens, it's no longer a medical condition. You are no longer allowed to claim ableism or oppression when someone is rude to you, because this is your own brand-new axis to work through and navigate. This is what we mean when we say that endos take up our spaces and resources, and they make us look bad. It's taken several decades to get this far with mental health. You simply cannot make up your own mental health condition that's based on an oppressed group of peoples, without any basis to it, and claim it's not a mental health condition, but then give no other origin. You are not allowed to get away with spreading misinfo, and expect it to be respected the same as a known and documented condition that took DECADES to be validated through research. It's wrong on so many levels.Giving appropriate lens and context is where endos constantly fail, right down to the name. Endogenous means having an internal cause or origin, and it is indeed a medical term. If you Google "endogenous", your first few results are using it in the context of depression and infections. It's also used in differentiating how certain bodily functions work, like the endogenous opioid system (opioids the body creates on its own) versus opioids taken as a medicine (exogenous). It's a very medical term. This is exactly why people say endos use our terms and spaces. Because they do. It's not an accusation, it's factual.Tulpas try and fail to do this through a religious lens because tulpas were meant to be a closed religious practice, and most often it's cultural appropriation of buddhism. Its origins in the US were from a skeevy brony fandom community online, and not an actual organized religion. Now it's all wild and free on Discord with seemingly no organized religious basis. It just doesn't cut it.There's just simply no lens, reasoning, or rights of respect that give endos any validity.
Because they. Are. Not. Valid.
Endos Think They're Oppressed
And they're often pretty toxic themselves.
Here you'll find many, many exact reasons why we don't want to associate with their disrespectful and delusional behavior.
